Assisting families following the sudden and unexpected death of a child.

Their Objectives:

To relieve the needs of families in Southampton and the surrounding area experiencing bereavement from the sudden death of a child up to the age of 17 by grant funding for counselling support and essential household costs.

ANIMAL RESCUE

Hampshire Paws Animal Rescue is a small rescue based in Hampshire, founded in 2019.

Their animals are living in foster homes, being kindly cared for by dedicated volunteers.

They rescue and rehome unwanted and neglected animals predominantly in the UK but also overseas

because they believe rescue has no borders.

Southampton Doing It For The Kids

supporting young people with additional needs, and their families

Southampton Doing It For The Kids ( SDIFTK ) is a non-profit registered charity run by local people.
They support young people with additional needs, and their families, all from the SO post code area.
All money they raise is used directly to help those who we are supporting, with specialist equipment, respite care, therapies, support for their specialist placements, and also for days out for the kids and their siblings.

Providing friendship and advice for families with Deaf children

The South Hampshire Deaf Children’s Society was started by a group of parents in April 1960, who wanted to meet up with other families with Deaf children within their local community, and to create a social group for their children.
